Rice Almondine
 

Serves 6

Quantity Ingredients Preparation Notes
1 med Onion, chopped
  •   Cook onion in butter until tender
  •   Add broth, lemon juice and garlic powder
  •   Bring to a boil
  •   Stir in rice
  •   Return to a broil
  •   Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes
  •   Remove from heat
  •   Stir in green beans, almonds and dill
  •   Cover and let stand 5 minutes
2 tsp Margarine
1 1/4 C Chicken Broth
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 1/2 C Instant Brown Rice
1 C Frozen Cut Green Beans, thawed
2 Tbsp Toasted Sliced Almonds
1/2 tsp Dill Weed
