Piquant Sauce
Sweet and spicy glaze for meat dishes.

My mother always used this on meatloaf.  I am sure it would be good on many other dishes as well.  A bit of hers always made it into the gravy that she made which made her meatloaf gravy very special and different.

Quantity Ingredients Preparation Notes
1/4 C Catsup
  •   Mix all ingredients together
  •   spread over meat 10 - 15 minutes prior to finish time for baking.
3 Tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Dry Mustard
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
