Mark Joseph Soltys II and Melinda Renee Fuller SoltysMark and Melinda met in a class at Northern Virginia Community College in the spring of 1999. They dated through the summer and into the fall after Mark went to Virginia Tech. |

| Distance made the hearts grow fonder and Melinda decided that she would continue her education at VT as well. During the year apart, Mel roomed with Serena in an apartment in Manassas. In the fall of 2000, Mark and Mel were both living in dorms on campus. The two became nearly inseparable. Pictures below document some of the good times.
